Ensuring Children’s Rights
Ensuring
Children’s Rights
Our focus here is on the most marginalized children, who are also the most vulnerable to harmful practices: denied healthcare and education, forced to marry, or forced to work – as miners, fishermen, domestic staff, sex workers, street vendors, farm laborers, factory workers, or child soldiers.
While governments have been taking steps to curb these rights violations, there must be action at every level—local, regional, national, and global—to protect children and allow them to have safe and happy childhoods. WE Trust invests in organizations with education and leadership development projects designed to help children grow up safe and healthy, with the involvement of community stakeholders to ensure continuous progress and lasting benefit.
